For those of you in Adelaide, a fascinating insight into some new research on teenagers will be presented by Dr Carole Maher on Wednesday 22 July. Carol will share the findings of her study – ‘Using the internet to increase physical activity in teenagers with cerebral palsy – are you kidding?’ The presentation will be of interest to parents of teens and professional working with young people who have a disability.

SportFitz is an exercise and recreation program for young people with cerebral palsy offered by The Spastic Centre. The aim of the SportFitz program is to provide young people with the opportunity to participate in health and fitness activities in an accessible environment whilst providing increased opportunities for participation and inclusion into exercise and community recreation activities.
