A series of workshops will be offered across Sydney by Family Advocacy about navigating the post school system for families of school students with additional needs. The day is for families of school students with a developmental disability* (Years 9,10,11 or 12) to help them plan for life after year 12.
Due to the level of demand,a second Northside School leavers forum will be held at Freshwater, in addition to the Normanhurst one we reported a few weeks ago.

The ANZ Bank have an Abilities Program which has set a target of recruiting 35 people with a disability by 30 September 2009.
Funding is now available for people with a disability working in the NSW public sector. The Assistive Technology and Equipment Program is a NSW government initiative which provides funding for assistive technology or other appropriate workplace equipment for people with a disability.
