Discobility at St Ives

A Michael Jackson themed dance party for young people with special needs is happening at St Ives, on Sydney’s northside, on Friday 9 October.

The venue is Fitz Youth Centre, off Memorial Avenue, St Ives. Music by DJ Andy.

SPARK, the creative arts festival for people with a disability is running 9-11 September 2009 at Stanwell Tops.

Open to people over 16 years, the program this year features a huge range of workshops designed to excite and delight.

Join in the fun at Discobility, a dance party at St Ives on Friday 24 July. The event is for young people with special needs, 12-18 years, but young peopleup to 26 years are also welcome.

Dance party and Livewire virtual tour

Kids dancing

You’re invited to a dance party on Friday 17 July 2009, hosted by Northcott and Livewire*. The night is for young people aged 10 -21 with a disability, serious illness or chronic health condition. Join in the music and entertainment, with a special virtual tour of the Livewire social networking website.

Dance group for kids with a disability

The X Factor Kidx Dance Group in Sydney’s Chipping Norton has opened its books for 2009. Classes cater specifically to children and young adults with physical needs such as those in wheelchairs, frames, splints etc. The focus of the lessons is upper body strength and movement.
