Ten reasons I should be paid to stay home

10. I’m more of a night person than a day person. Thus, it could be seen as intrusion into my ‘beliefs’ to make me work on any day ending in ‘day’. They all do, so I really should stay home.

9. Gold Class cinema is way more entertaining than office meetings. And they serve popcorn.

Melbourne, Victoria… and why I plan to run away and stay there (one day)

Ever since I’ve loved music, I’ve loved Melbourne. I could be wrong, but I tend to think of it as the music capital of Australia. Music, however, is not the only reason I love Melbourne, there are a few others I can think of (presented to you in no particular order): the weather Yes, I’m weird. I’d take overcast and rain over sun any day.

It’s way more atmospheric. Such weather is also conducive to wearing coats and boots for more of the year.

Personal care assessment

I had my “once every few years” personal care assessment this morning. I realise that these are important to both the carer and myself, and that occupational therapists (and such) have their job to do.
