AmazING, CarING and OutstandING volunteers paint at Allambie

Once again almost 20 volunteers from ING’s Corporate and Finance business took up the challenge and on Thursday 30 April the residents and staff of Venee Burges House received a bright newly painted hallway.

It was so nice to see some of you come back for a return visit! The paint strewn T-shirts on arrival were a bit of a giveaway!

If music be the food of love – paint on!

What a fabulous job you did resurrecting the Music Room at St. Ives CAS and how ‘ING appropriate’ was that orange wall? With Odette and Jacomijn the only ‘experienced painters’ in the group, our initial expectations were not high. How wrong we were! By the end of the day you were all ‘experts’ and the room looked fabulous and very professional.

You came from different areas all across ING – Investments, ING direct, ING real estate, ING Australia and yet worked together so well.

You all make such a difference when you mentor

Research tells us that young people with a disability have a high potential to be in ‘at risk’ categories. However, well run mentoring programs have proved to be a great strategy to help ‘at risk’ teenagers.
