Commonwealth Bank bring Christmas Cheer

Didn’t we have a wonderful day? An invitation to help out at a Christmas Party hosted by The Governor General Ms Quentin Bryce and her husband! As volunteer roles go – it doesn’t get much nicer than that. Don’t know about you guys but this was my first visit to Admiralty House – very impressive don’t you think? The house, its history, the warm welcome from the GG, not to mention the views!!

Commonwealth Bank infiltrates Boccia Training Camp

What an ace team you proved to be. Our athletes were impressed, not just with your sporting prowess, but also your amazingly positive attitude to cerebral palsy.

If you could have seen the look on your faces when Peter asked Angie if alcohol ever (accidently) got into her feeding tube! and how you all laughed so much at the story of the flight attendants giving private safety instructions to our guys who, on each flight were always boarded first and left the plane last.

A keener group would be hard to find. When faced with dark and dismal hallways, you all tackled the paint task with passion and polished the original job off with such speed that we were forced to add an extra corridor!

Commonwealth Bank Blitz Wellington Road

On Friday 5th June, 23 of you shut down your computers and left the city heading for Wellington Road House in Chester Hill.

After almost a week of daily downpours, the sun chose to shine as you arrived and kitted up for the tasks ahead. You all eagerly got down to painting and gardening determined to make a difference and leave your mark.
