about Cerebral Palsy Alliance

ING to the Rescue!

Mark, this was your team’s third project with us and as always when you heard our plight you didn’t hesitate to come to the rescue. This time it was the children’s playground at Allambie which had not only become a little neglected over the winter months but also had several safety issues. Your hard work, determination and wonderful commitment to all our children paid off and thanks to your incredible team you gave them back a much safer, brighter and cleaner play area. Your visits with us have always been so much more than team-building days for your staff. You never seem to mind what you do, just want to help wherever it is needed. We loved meeting Jessica – your little team mascot. Clearly she is ready to follow in daddy’s footsteps.

DELL delivers…

Had we known that Dell had such lovely volunteers, we may have asked for your help sooner!

Thank you so much for all your hard work assembling the handout books and ‘show bags’for our important ‘Just Like You’ school’s program and for your interest and questions on cerebral palsy.

We hope you enjoyed your short visit with us as much as we did meeting you all. Brett, John, Jon and Karen, please come back soon – next time we can organise something a little more challenging.

Anna – we hope the back is getting better and look forward to meeting you next time.

On behalf of all the staff, clients and parents at The Spastic Centre we truly value your support.

Westfield and the Seven (or was it six !) Dwarfs

Lots of muscle power and expertise soon turned a very ordinary suburban garden into one with ‘kerb appeal.’ Our residents were amazed at the amount of work you completed in such a short time and the difference this made to their home. They just can’t wait to get out there and show it off to friends and family.

Clive – You recently left Edinburgh on a grey ‘dreicht’ day but found gardening in the heat and humidity which is Sydney ‘nae bother’

Andrew H – Your dad (one of our regular volunteers) will be proud of you

Commonwealth Bank infiltrates Boccia Training Camp

What an ace team you proved to be. Our athletes were impressed, not just with your sporting prowess, but also your amazingly positive attitude to cerebral palsy.

If you could have seen the look on your faces when Peter asked Angie if alcohol ever (accidently) got into her feeding tube! and how you all laughed so much at the story of the flight attendants giving private safety instructions to our guys who, on each flight were always boarded first and left the plane last.
