GE Give a Garden

When you heard that the children who attend our Wetherill Park site wanted a garden, you didn’t hesitate to grant their wish. Not only did you supply the ‘muscle’, you also donated all the materials it took to build a magnificent raised planter box that would be accessible to our children who use wheelchairs.

Even the thunderclouds overhead and the threat of imminent rain didn’t stop you. Did you know you were such talented carpenters?

Our new friends at Alpha West

What a fabulous and fun team. You certainly put your heart and soul into this gardening project. Whose idea was it to go with the red mulch bark? The Backyard Blitz team may shortly be giving you a call!

Thank you for coming into our world and making such a difference. You transformed our garden at Karingal House in the space of a few hours – work that would have taken us months to achieve. Your great personalities shone through and we all enjoyed your banter and laughter. How quickly your time with us seemed to go.

Westfield WOWs Ryde Centre

Friday 12 June was certainly a red letter day on the Ryde Centre calendar. Our prayers for good weather paid off and, though a little chilly, it was dry and the sun shone.

Pretty early on the site’s usual serenity was broken. We actually ‘heard’ your arrival before we saw you :-) From the minute we watched this army of smiling faces, clad in bright yellow t-shirts unload their bus and march up the driveway, laden with boxes of food, gardening gear, catering equipment, buckets of ice, litres of drinks etc., we knew the day was going to be something special … and you sure didn’t let us down.
