Roche volunteers at Curl Curl House

Despite all superstition, Friday 13th was a lucky day for the residents of Curl Curl House. How smart and modern the entrance hallway and corridors now look.

You were a small but very dynamic team who worked quickly and just got on with the job. You achieved so much in such a short time. Thank you for all your support and the funds donated to pay for the materials. Watch this space for comments from the residents! Just how much did they love your work?

If music be the food of love – paint on!

What a fabulous job you did resurrecting the Music Room at St. Ives CAS and how ‘ING appropriate’ was that orange wall? With Odette and Jacomijn the only ‘experienced painters’ in the group, our initial expectations were not high. How wrong we were! By the end of the day you were all ‘experts’ and the room looked fabulous and very professional.

You came from different areas all across ING – Investments, ING direct, ING real estate, ING Australia and yet worked together so well.

Billed as ‘The Amazing Race’ meets ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ and ‘Survivor’, A curiously large number of people in white t-shirts and caps invaded Darling Harbour. Prior to the ‘off’, I noticed that whilst some (obviously seasoned participants) sat down at local cafés to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, others were busy studying maps and doing warm-up exercises. Personally, the fifty star jumps at the start would have been enough to exhaust me for the rest of the race/day! Who was the poor guy who started the day with his face in a birthday cake?
