Volunteer Reward and Recognition Evening December 2009

How wonderful to see you all last Wednesday evening enjoying the location, the food, the choc tops, the popcorn and each others company. Oh and of course the movie! :-) Or should that be a :-( ! There were certainly a few noses being blown. The tissues did come in handy after all!

Commonwealth Bank bring Christmas Cheer

Didn’t we have a wonderful day? An invitation to help out at a Christmas Party hosted by The Governor General Ms Quentin Bryce and her husband! As volunteer roles go – it doesn’t get much nicer than that. Don’t know about you guys but this was my first visit to Admiralty House – very impressive don’t you think? The house, its history, the warm welcome from the GG, not to mention the views!!
